Business Tasmania Division

The Business Tasmania Division provides services and support across Tasmania's small business, and advanced manufacturing and defence sectors, as well as commercial and agribusiness finance sectors, including loans, grants and funding opportunities.

Tasmania has approximately 39 700 businesses across a range of sectors, across the state. Ninety seven per cent of these are considered small businesses and employ 19 (full time equivalent) staff or less. The Business Tasmania Service provides practical support tools for businesses, including checklists, business diagnostic tools and valuable information to assist small business owners and operators on their business journey.

The division also supports the work of the Tasmanian Development Board.
