Business Energy Efficiency Scheme now open

The new Business Energy Efficiency Scheme (BEES) which subsidises interest payments against loans for commercial and industrial energy customers to improve their energy efficiency and reduce electricity bills is now open for applications.

The scheme will cover the full interest costs on loans of up to $10,000 over the first three years and 5 percentage points on loans of between $10,000 and $60,000 over the first three years for customers who currently use more than 150MWh of electricity per year.
