Our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) efforts are overseen and guided by a DE&I Leadership Group, with support and implementation of actions from the DE&I Working Group.
The DE&I Leadership Group has been meeting since 2019, actively championing the department’s commitment to D,E&I and the Our Watch Workplace Equality and Respect Standards, and providing strategic oversight and monitoring progress. The Group comprises of nine Executive Leadership Team members and is chaired by the Secretary of State Growth, Kim Evans. The Group reports to the department’s Executive Committee after each meeting.
Our DE&I Working Group includes a diversity of employees, perspectives and ideas and is instrumental in supporting and driving the implementation of our DE&I and State Growth Our Watch Workplace Equality and Respect Standards action plans. Members are advocates and champions for DE&I and respectful behaviours in the department. The Working Group currently comprises of approximately 20 employees from across our divisions and locations.
