Savour Tasmania 2024 – for international buyers

Tasmania, Australia’s only island state, is uniquely positioned to produce exceptional quality food and beverages.

With the world’s cleanest air, rich fertile soils, a temperate climate, and access to pure rainwater, there’s really no other place like it.

Tasmania has strict biosecurity standards and is the only Australian state free from many major pests and diseases. Tasmania is genetically modified organism (GMO) free.

It is this environment, and the controls that protect it, that provide the perfect conditions for Tasmanian businesses to deliver exquisite produce and products worldwide.

Trade Tasmania is inviting a select number of international premium food and beverage buyers to experience some of the tastiest meat and seafood, award-winning wines and spirits, finest packaged goods, tantalising dairy, and freshest fruit and vegetables that our state has to offer.

Savour Tasmania 2024 - Premium Buyer’s Mission package

Dates:

Sunday, 28 July to Friday, 2 August 2024

Itinerary:

Curated for your business, your unique 5-day itinerary will introduce you to export-ready Tasmanian producers, allow you to experience the warmth of Tasmanian hospitality, and to taste produce at the source – farm gate, straight from the ocean, and at the cellar door.

With a choice of six product categories

  • meat and seafood
  • fruit and vegetables
  • packaged food
  • dairy
  • non-alcoholic beverages
  • alcoholic beverages

your exclusive itinerary will see you travel to up to four regions of Tasmania, meeting the makers and discovering why Tasmania is also a drawcard food and drink holiday destination.

Hobart & South

Old meets new in the island’s capital. Find cosy bars along cobbled laneways. Modern art in convict-built sandstone warehouses. Whisky tastings in a converted car-sales room. Hobart is anything but ordinary.

Launceston & North

An abundance of farm-fresh produce, vineyards, distilleries, cooking schools and dining experiences makes Tasmania’s north an irresistible draw for lovers of good food and distinctive drinks.

North West

Abundant produce, clever makers and epic wilderness – a journey in the north west is a feast for the senses.

East Coast

Slurp an oyster plucked straight from the sea. Eat fresh crayfish. Chat to winemakers at their cellar doors.
