Fine Food Australia – September 2024

The Tasmanian Trade Strategy 2019-2025 details a whole-of-government approach to build trade in key sectors, through sector-specific trade events and visits, in both domestic and international markets. Food and agribusiness is identified as a key sector.

Fine Food Australia is the country’s largest trade exhibition for the foodservice, hospitality and retail industries. The event presents new and innovative products from around Australia and internationally, as well as live demonstrations, masterclasses and industry recognised competitions. The show runs annually and alternates between Sydney and Melbourne.

Fine Food Australia 2024 will be held in Melbourne from 2 to 5 September 2024. The event provides a platform for Tasmanian food and agribusinesses to discover new export or growth opportunities, ignite business conversations, foster face-to-face connections with quality decision-makers, and find and discuss opportunities for collaboration with like-minded businesses.

"Attending the Fine Food Australia exhibition as part of the Tasmanian stand was a phenomenal experience for us. The impact that marketing ourselves as state collectively had was really powerful. We found we were able to leverage our peer's brands with ours and get potential customers excited by not only our produce, but other businesses too. We're looking forward to establishing relationships with the quality export and domestic leads we received at the show. I would highly recommend anyone experiencing their first trade show or their 10th to attend with the professional team at Trade Tasmania" - Gemma Poke, Marketing Manager, Lamb of Tasmania (Tasmanian Quality Meats)

The Department of State Growth invites Tasmanian food and beverage businesses who are ready to grow their domestic trade, to submit an express of interest (EOI) to attend Fine Food Australia 2024 under the TASMANIAN banner.
