Advanced Manufacturing Accelerating Growth Program

Tasmanian advanced manufacturers are amongst the best in the world and the Tasmanian Government is committed to supporting our manufacturers to innovate, expand and create jobs and opportunities for Tasmanians.

Key features

  • Funding is available to Tasmanian-based advanced manufacturing enterprises to purchase capital equipment, linked to an off island market driven expansion opportunity with resulting increased employment.
  • Grants will be provided on a co-contribution basis of 33% (grant), 67% minimum (applicant).
  • Maximum grant available is $50,000.
  • The program is competitively based and assessed on the stated criterion.

Key dates

Opens: Monday 12 February 2024, 12 noon

Closes: Friday 8 March 2024, 2 pm

Please ensure you lodge your application well before the closing time as Smarty Grants will not allow lodgements after the 2 pm cut off.

Outcomes notified by Friday, 26 April 2024.

The Tasmanian Government has assumed a caretaker role ahead of the March 2024 State Election.

Applications for this program are still being accepted and will be assessed during this period however no funding decisions will be made until considered by an incoming government following the election.
