USA Trade and Investment Mission - April 2024

The USA Trade and Investment Mission was led by Department of State Growth’s Secretary, Craig Limkin in April 2024.

The USA is identified in the Tasmanian Trade Strategy 2019 – 2025 as a priority market for broad engagement.

The mission provided an opportunity for Tasmanian businesses to explore new trade and investment opportunities across maritime, advanced technologies, food and investment sectors.

The 25-member delegation that included 14 Tasmanian businesses and associations, held a series of business meetings, site visits and networking events across Washington State, California, New York and Washington D.C. The mission concluded in the attendance by some of the delegation at Sea Air Space maritime exposition in Maryland.

The mission provided attending Tasmanian businesses with valuable market insights, connections to key-decision makers and potential partners.
