Cultural Heritage Organisations & Cultural Heritage Organisations (multi-year) 2024-25

The Minister for the Arts has approved funding of $465,500 for six cultural heritage organisations for activities in 2024-25. This includes three existing multi‑year commitments totalling $268,000 for 2024-25.

Funding recommendations were made by expert peers drawn from the Cultural and Creative Industries Expert Register.

The peers provided the following feedback for current and future applicants:

  • Applicants engaging with key community groups should provide evidence of support or plans for working with that community.
  • The stronger applications to this program included:
    • budgets that showed clear evidence of partnerships or in-kind support
    • project plans or timelines to show the depth and breadth of planning and activities proposed
    • letters of support
    • CVs of key professionals and personnel
  • Peers recommended that applicants read the program guidelines carefully and include the relevant support material required.
