The Tourism and Hospitality Support Unit (THSU) has a primary focus on supporting the Tasmanian tourism industry’s capability, capacity and community to deliver great visitor experiences.

We do this by providing strategic advice, funding and industry development programs, while also developing key partnerships that support the supply opportunities, and challenges, of a growing visitor economy.

The THSU plays an integral part in the delivery of the T21 – the Tasmanian Visitor Economy Strategy 2015 – 2020.

This strategy outlines how Tourism Tasmania and THSU work together to grow Tasmania’s visitor numbers, enable greater capital investment and create jobs.
