From 15 years and 11 months you may;

Your learner licence will only be issued once you are 16 years old, regardless of which test you complete.

Learner licence holder

Novice learners need to log 80 hours, including 15 at night, and hold this licence for a minimum of 12 consecutive months.

L1 and L2 licence holders have different pathways. Learn more.

P1 licence holder

P1 licence holder

You will need to hold your licence for minimum of 12 consecutive months.

P2 licence holder

P2 licence holder

Depending on your age you will have to hold your licence for between one and two years.
