More training opportunities in Tasmania
The JobTrainer Fund has been boosted with an additional $10.5 million now available to provide more training places and additional qualifications for Tasmanians.
Young Tasmanians aged 17 to 24, including school leavers, and job seekers are eligible for free JobTrainer Fund training to help ensure we have the skilled workforce needed to support our growing economy.
For this new round, training will be focused on areas of job growth, with specific targets for aged care and digital skills qualifications, which are recognised as priorities nationwide.
Free training is being made available to learners in the aged care, childcare, disability care and digital skills industry areas regardless of their age or employment status to support this focus.
