Support for bushfire affected businesses

Bushfire Small Business Disruption Grants of up to $2,000  are available for small businesses that have experienced a significant disruption to their business as a result of the recent bushfire.

Small businesses affected by the fires in the Huon Valley, Central Highlands, West Coast, and Derwent Valley areas with under 20 staff are eligible to receive the grants to help cover bills and immediate operating cost stresses being felt due to the downturn in trading.

Bushfire Business Recovery Grants of up to $25,000 each are now available for small to medium sized enterprises to help cover demonstrated irrecoverable losses and Concessional Business Recovery Loans of up to $100,000 each are available to assist small businesses and farm businesses re-establish after being directly impacted by the bushfires.

Concessional Business Recovery Loans and Bushfire Small Business Disruption Grants are available through the jointly funded Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) and Bushfire Business Recovery Grants are funded by the Tasmanian Government.
