The Greater Hobart Cultural Venues Study

Two independent consultants undertook this project, which included an audit of 30 public and private cultural facilities in Greater Hobart.

The Greater Hobart Cultural Venues Study provides an overview of Hobart’s cultural infrastructure, as well identifying development opportunities and providing recommendations. The study identifies gaps and opportunities for Greater Hobart’s cultural venues based on feedback from 60 local cultural facility representatives.

The study provides scope for the future of Hobart’s cultural venues, identifying opportunities to support and grow our cultural and creative industries as the sector continues to rebuild and recover from the impact of COVID-19.
