Tasmanian STEM Excellence Awards

Closing date now extended to 11:59 pm Friday, 25 September 2020

Nominations are now open for the 2020 science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) Excellence Awards, celebrating Tasmanians who have excelled in their field.

Now in their fifth year, the awards recognise Tasmanian’s leading the way in STEM, and inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers.

The award categories are:

  • The Premier’s Tasmanian STEM Researcher of the Year
  • The Minister’s Tasmanian STEM Innovation of the Year
  • The Tasmanian STEM Teacher of the Year for Primary Teachers
  • The Tasmanian STEM Teacher of the Year for Secondary Teachers
  • The Tasmanian STEM Young Researcher of the Year
  • The Tasmanian STEM Communicator of the Year

How to apply:

  • Applications in 2020 are required to be completed online via the link below.
  • Please note file uploads are limited at 4 files of 50 MB each. For larger files please provide a link accessible via a website.
  • It is possible to start an application, save, and return to finish and submit later.
