Indo Pacific Expo

Indo-Pacific – A new name and a new date

Reflecting the increasing importance of the Indo Pacific region to the entire world, the Pacific International Maritime Exposition will become the Indo Pacific International Maritime Exposition from 2022.

While the Pacific Expo was initially planned to be held in August 2021, due to COVID-19, Indo Pacific Expo will now be held in May 2022.

Since the inaugural Pacific International Maritime Exposition in 2000, the 11 biennial Pacific events held to date have seen Pacific firmly established on the world stage, as an essential hub for topical discussion of issues affecting naval and commercial maritime strategy, industry and technology.

The Pacific Expo (now named Indo-Pacific Expo) is the biggest biennial maritime and naval exhibition and business event in the Asia-Pacific. The event brings together decision makers, buyers and suppliers across defence equipment acquisition, marine transport, security, environmental affairs, cargo handling, port services and maritime technology, with representation from more than 20 countries. Tasmanian companies have been presenting at Pacific for a number of years. You can read more about the event here
