Developing our cultural and creative industries
Tasmania is recognised nationally and internationally for its cultural and creative industries, which attract people to visit our state, create jobs and enhance the Tasmanian way of life.
These industry areas include museums and historic places, festivals and events, visual arts, performing arts, photography, film, design, literature and architecture – to name a few!
To help shape the future of this sector, the Department of State Growth is developing a renewed Cultural and Creative Industries Strategy.
Valuable community consultation forums were held in Hobart, Launceston and Ulverstone during April and May 2019.
If you were unable to attend a forum you can still have your say by contributing to our online discussion platform and survey by Monday, 3 June 2019.
