The Tasmanian Government has assumed a caretaker role ahead of the election for the Tasmanian House of Assembly. It is important during this time that Tasmanian Government resources are not used to communicate political material. As such, no political or election material will be placed on this site.

Arts Tasmania

Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander content

If you are working on an activity that includes Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander content, please refer to Creative Australia's (formerly Australia Council for the Arts) Protocols for using First Nations Cultural and Intellectual Property in the Arts.

The Tasmanian Government's Office of Aboriginal Affairs can also provide advice on working with Tasmanian Aboriginal people and organisations.

The Indigenous Art Code is a set of rules and guidelines that art dealers (both Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses) should commit to follow to ensure ethical practices and fair treatment of artists.
