Australia Council for the Arts - indigenous protocols
The Australia Council has developed protocols for educate readers and users on Indigenous Australian cultural heritage, and encourage meaningful collaborations with First Nations artists and creators.

Australian Poetry
A national peak industry body for poetry. It promotes excellence in Australian poetry and offers programs and opportunities for all Australians to engage with Australian poets and poetry.

Legal deposit in Australia
Provides information on the requirements for the legal deposit of publications in Australian libraries.

National Library of Australia
Provides a lists of general literature websites and a diverse range of information on Australian literature resources, as well as links to other useful websites.

The Children’s Book Council of Australia
A volunteer-run, not-for-profit, organisation supporting children’s and young adult literature.

Australian Plays Transform (APT)
APT is Australia’s national play development and publication organisation. It hosts the world’s largest online showcase and searchable database of the best Australian playwriting.

Express Media
A peak organisation for the creation, development and promotion of young Australian writers and text-based artists.

TasWriters
A not-for-profit organisation that supports literature and writing in all forms and provides up-to-date news about events and opportunities in Tasmania.

The Australian Literary Agents Association
Provides a public presence and a point of contact for Australian literary agencies.

The Australian Society of Authors
A peak professional association for Australia’s literary creators.

The Australian Writers Guild
Provides professional development and support for performance writers and acts as an advocate on their behalf, to ensure work is properly valued, protected and remunerated.

The Fellowship of Australian Writers (Tasmania)
An Australia-wide body with branches in each state, it caters for both established writers and those interested in writing.
