New work for new markets
This initiative is designed to support Tasmanian artists and arts organisations to research or create new work for new markets.
New markets may be regional (local, national or international) or demographic (such as creating work for different age groups or communities). For example, an author of adult fiction may apply to work on a new book for young adults, or a furniture maker may apply to prototype objects for a new digital market.
You can apply for funding towards:
- developing or creating a new work
- connecting with and developing an identified market or audience
- taking an existing work and connecting it to a new market or audience.
This initiative does not cover costs associated with the presentation or distribution of work. If you are seeking funding towards these activities, please visit grants and funding for other opportunities.
