Japan, South Korea

This was the first Tasmanian government-led trade and investment mission to Japan and South Korea since Australia’s free trade agreements with each country came into effect.

A key event in Japan was Taslnvest: a business matching and investment attraction event which capitalised on the Japan-Australia Economic Partnership Agreement (AEPA). TasInvest created new opportunities for Tasmanian businesses to access Japan's business networks and leveraged existing Japanese investments in Tasmania.
