Who can apply for the Skills Fund?
Endorsed Registered Training Organisations are the only organisations that can apply for this grant.
How do I apply for the Skills Fund?
Before starting an application, it is highly recommended that you:
- read the RTO Guide to the Application Process, Eligibility Criteria and Conditions; and
- attend one of the information sessions.
To apply, you will need to use the SmartyGrants online application form - https://skills.smartygrants.com.au/skillsfundST049
If you haven’t used SmartyGrants before, you need to follow the instructions to become a registered user.

Work Ready Resource available
The Work Readiness Project conducted by the TCCI and funded by Skills Tasmania in 2015 has developed a new tool to support employers, jobseekers and RTOs to understand the skills and attributes that employers require when recruiting for work ready employees.
