Citizen Science Grants available
The Australian Government has announced $4 million in Citizen Science Grants over the next four years to support more opportunities for the public to engage directly in exciting scientific research with a national impact.
The Citizen Science Grants are now open for applications.
Competitive grants between $50 000 and $500 000 are available for Australian researchers to engage the public in research, including collecting and analysing data, formulating questions for investigation and organising research teams.
The funding aims to boost the public’s participation in science and directly involve them in the research process.
Eligible projects will run for a maximum of three years.
Applications close on 17 February 2017.
